This is a 5 Micron Aries 10″ x 4.5″ coconut shell carbon block water filter to remove chlorine, bad taste, and bad odor. It is a BB/Full Flow size 10″ × 4.5″ sediment cartridge.
Carbon filtration is an inexpensive and effective way to remove chemicals and contaminants commonly found in tap water. Aries Filter Works carbon block cartridges are ideal for controlling taste and odor, removing chlorine/chloramine, and reducing organic, lead, and cysts.
Each block is wrapped with a polypropylene outer layer and netting to prevent premature clogging of the carbon block.
The carbon block taste and odor reduction filter is superior in that it acts as both a sediment and activated carbon filter.
